Trans Health Equity Needs Assessment

In 2023, Gender Hive conducted an assessment to explore the health-related needs and experiences of transgender, non-binary, and gender-diverse (TGD) people in Central Oregon by collecting qualitative and quantitative data from three key stakeholder groups: TGD adults, parents of TGD youth, and local healthcare providers.

These findings reveal disparities in healthcare access and outcomes for TGD community members, and in education and support for providers, but they also provide valuable insights and concrete recommendations for how we can advance trans health equity in Central Oregon.
